On the end of each aisle was Lilacs and other assorted flowers and Lilac flowers were scattered near the isles.  The smell in the church was wonderful.

A SWEET FIND

When looking through some boxes of yarn the other day I found this wonderful box of Angora and mohair yarn.  The price on the box was $.69.  A friend had given me this a long time ago.  I think I will use them for slipper sock tops.  I will have a very warm pair of slippers for next winter.

THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT

THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT

The Eastern Textile Company is still in Greenfield and called The Textile Company.  They don’t sell yarn anymore but they are my favorite place to buy fabric.  This wool is over 50 years old and came from my friend Lenny.

Many thanks for reading my blog and I hope you had a lovely day.  Carole
