Hello,
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
It’s a beautiful day here, must be in the forty’s. The sun feels so good.
SADIE
Sadie is enjoying a wonderful Valentine breakfast.
ANOTHER ODD EGG
It’s all wrinkled!
I do love collecting the eggs, you just never know what you will find. There are explanations for all these off eggs.
MAKING AN EASTER TREE
My cement base has a piece of discarded foam inside and taped with masking tape.
Dried green moss gathered by my friend Susan was placed on top.
I brought my Mother’s ribbon box and my ribbon box down and went through them both and found some suitable ribbon to hang the eggs with. I also found some silk flowers in my Mom’s box from the 50’s which I put around the moss just to add a bit of Spring color.
I cut out a very whimsical top for the eggs out of old wool scraps and then cut a slit in the middle to put the ribbon through and glued them both on the egg.
I want to add a few more colored eggs but will have to wait till Morticia lays some more
Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day Carole
