GREETINGS

The weather has been beautiful. cool nights and no humidity.  Would like a bit of summer weather to come back though.  Everyone is fine here on the farm and the cukes and tomatoes and peppers are almost ready to pick.  Chris is back and things are getting done.

ADDING FENCING

Yesterday we added some more fencing.  I am having the sheep lean up a heavily weeded area.  A small section was done yesterday and everyone enjoyed it especially Elliott.

SHEEP AND SHAWL CLASSES

I am starting to schedule my classes at Sheep and Shawl.

September 27th and October 4 will be Learn to Spin on a Drop Spindle.  If you have ever want to learn how to spin on a spindle this is the class for you.  You will learn to spin  and ply wool of all types.  We will experiment with different fibers and try different spindles.    Call the shop and get your name in.

October 25th is a one day  Proddy and hooked Primitive Sunflower.  No hooking experience necessary.  Learn to make these wonderful Primitive Sunflowers in a one day class.  Call or check the web for more details.  It’s a fun class and these flowers enhance any decor.

YESTERDAYS TRAVELS

My friend Ceacy called with a sick Hen question.   I decided to take a ride up and see the hen myself.  On the way up was this huge flock of teenage Turkey’s with their Mom.  I stopped the car and watched as they all crossed the road and flew off into the trees.  I haven’t heard if the hen survived but hope she has.  The sunset is from her pasture.  It was beautiful

It was a beautiful one. We have some good ones but usually I am too busy to enjoy them. I need to take more time to enjoy them.

You did ask about the sweater hanging. I didn’t make it, I bought it at my favorite shop on the outskirts of Doolin. I am getting back to knitting too.
