Usually Sundays are not the best days at shows but Sunday was good.  They had good crowds and the weather continued to be good although a bit more humid.

Sandy’s Studio

I love Sandy’s studio.  It’s in a beautiful setting, sitting on a bluff overlooking the farm.  Heated by a wood stove and oil lamps light it , a place to sit and read and a large room to weave in. Just perfect.

RICKY LEFT FOR SCHOOL

Ricky goes to Eagle hill School in Hardwick for a month each summer.  It’s a beautiful school located in the country. It’s about an hour or so away.

MR.PEEPERS AND CHICKEN LITTLE

On Saturday I went to feed the chicks and Mama and overnight the tail feathers of Mr. Peepers had blossomed out.

He is not starting to crow yet but he and his brother Chicken Little will be large roosters.  More handling is called for to keep them friendly.  The next day Chicken Little had his feathers.  The chicken world is always astonishing.

Many thanks for reading my blog today, it’s very humid here and will be for a few day.  Chores will be done early.  Hope you have a wonderful day.  I will leave you today with a shot of the cows waiting to be milked at a local farm.   Carole
