GOODBYE SAMMY

GOODBYE SAMMY

I got the dreaded call this morning, my Sammy had passed away.  He was my constant companion for the last 18 years.  They were difficult years but he helped me get through them.  He was a talker and loved being near me .  Its a profound loss for me one which will ease in time but I will never quite get over.  I love all my other cats but he was something more.  I will see you again my friend over the rainbow bridge.

Oh…so sorry he passed. Even though it was at the Vet and not at home I am sure he stopped by on his way….and he is pain free and happy now and he will be waiting for you…at the Rainbow Bridge…what a joyous place that must be!

I am so sorry that you lost your longtime companion and dear friend Sammy. I’ll hug all my animals a little longer today in memory of him. I am glad you got to have him in your life for so many years, but know that makes the loss even deeper.

Oh, Carole, I am sorry to read this. Your heart must be so heavy. It is hard to say goodbye to our beloved friends, they give us their all and then they are gone. Sending warm thoughts your way, may you find some peace.

Dear Carole, I’m so sorry to hear about Sammy. You loved him so much and shared so much. I’m sure there’s a cat design forming in your mind for a new rug or wall hanging. Be gentle with yourself to ease the pain and have happy memories for such a long-time friend. Love, Liz

I’m very fortunate to have known your little buddy Sammy and hold him in high regard for being such a wonderful companion. One of my favorite sayings:
Animals are such agreeable friends, they ask no questions, pass no criticisms. -Anonymous
You and I know, don’t we, that he has made room for some unfortunate kitty that will probably cross your path eventually.

Renee, You were there at the start with him and he did well almost 19.And yes its true there will be room for another I only have two left from the Maryland crowd, Angus and Shorty. I only have 5 cats now the lowest number since Maryland. The house does seem empty. Let get together soon.

Very sorry to hear about your Sammy. Animals carve very special places in our heart and I understand how devastating it is to see them go. Im sorry about your loss.

No, I didn’t get the email, thanks so much Anne, we both know a lot about loss. He lived a good long life, it’s never long enough though

You and Sammy traveled a long road together. Cats always seem wise but old cats seem wiser still. He had a wonderfully long life with you and I know that you miss him very much. Your dear Sammy is at the Rainbow Bridge with all of the old and much loved friends. It’s always so hard to say goodbye to such a fine old companion but “for every goodbye, God also provides a hello” Take care my friend I’m thinking of you. Fran
