HELLO

SOCK KNITTING CLASS AT SHEEP AND SHAWL

I had 4 wonderful students at the class yesterday.   Each one is working well with the double-pointed needles . Next Sunday we will get the heel done and finish the sock the following week.  My How to SPin class already has 3 people signed up.  Here are pictures of my class.

HYACINTHS

I was lucky enough to buy a couple of packages of Hyacinths in November.  I now have them all over the house.  This white one is located in a dark hallway.  It’s wonderful to pass through and smell the fresh scent of these beautiful flowers.  I need to get 4 packages next year. I love the old wall paper but the whole wall needs to be replaced  .  The walls in the upstairs are almost all redone.  The child who lived here before I bought it was allowed to put holes and carved and write over all the walls.  This is the last one to be replaced and I may even try it myself this summer.

EGGS

Yea, today I found a beautiful blue egg in the nest box, I hope this is a trend.  The days are getting longer and in two months they could be outside again and no more chickens in the house.

We are expecting a little snow sometime today.  I want to get 2 more bales of hay before that happens.  I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you so much for reading my blog.  Carole

I knitted another few inches and decided the sock was going to be too small so I got some number 5 needles and I am starting again. I hope I remember how we did it!☺️ It will be good practice.
