TEA’S GAME-FINISHING THE HOOKING PROJECT-AN OLD HOOKED RUG

16 01 2014

HELLO

TEA’S GAME

Monday night I went to see Tea’ and her team (Belchertown High School) play in Northfield.  My son David and his whole family went also.  We met Betty there and had a wonderful time, Tea’s team won the game and even Lil had a great time clapping and cheering them on.

 OLD HOOKED RUG

About 5 or so years ago I was at the summer hook-in and this rug was on the free table.   No one else seemed to want it so it came home with me.  It’s all hand hooked and is worn but I love it.  Its large probably made for a boy’s room.  I have it in the hallway between the kitchen and dining room.

FINISHING THE HOOKING PROJECT

I pressed the piece today and sewed the edges.  Tonight I will look for a wool piece for the backing.  It’s a cute little primitive piece that was fun to do and all made from handspun yarn.

Many thanks for reading my blog today and I hope you had a wonderful day.  Carole
