HELLO
Yesterday I spent part of the afternoon in Brattleboro.
A lovely town in Vermont. I drive the back way over hills and dales with the smell of wood smoke seeping in the car, it was perfect. It actually takes less time than the highway. I needed to pick up some beads for the spinning wheel hooks and some wire. The bead store in Brattleboro is very large they even carry needle felting supplies. Then I went to the Food co-op, I haven’t been in there since they made the new building.
Its large and roomy and has everything you could want. It was good to get out and away from the ice problems in the barn.
GREAT NEWS
A new sheep is coming to my barn this spring. Her name is Lucky, She is going to be having a baby in a couple of weeks so it will be springtime that she will come. She is a Border Leicester. Yea, my little herd is complete.
MRS. BROWN LAYS AN EGG
Mrs. Brown laid an egg today. She wasquite proud of herself and it’s a beauty, she is back to her old self again. I was secretly hoping that she would become broody and hatch a few chicks, we will see about that.
WILLIE
Willie is back home and spending the night with Sammy. Angus doesn’t like Willie (he is the cat that wants to be an only cat) and I fear that something might happen so he and Sam will spend a quiet night together. They are both already happy with special foods.
Tonight I am going to Tea’s basketball game in Bernardston. A report with follow tomorrow. Hope you had a wonderful day and many thanks for reading my blog. Carole
