HAZEL- SALEM CROSS INN-RUG HOOKING

31 10 2013

HELLO

Today was a warmer morning than the last few, yesterday morning greeted me with sleet and freezing rain ,  The back pasture is full of leaves and the glow of them filled the  barn this morning with reddish hues

HAZEL

Hazel went to the Vets on Tuesday.  He is doing better but may have to be on the medication longer than the 14 days originally planned.  His crow is coming back and the gals at the front desk heard it and came into to say how much better he sounds.  He was quite nice for the doctor she trimmed one of his nails that had gotten broken.

HOOK-IN AT SALEM CROSS INN

Once again Sandy of Woolen Memories has out done herself.  The hook-inn was perfect.  It doesn’t seem possible that its been going on for 15 years.   Debbie, Mary Jane and I arrived at a  good time, and got our table.  We enjoyed the company of lots of people at our table.  Susan came and it was her first time there although several years ago she had visited me there.  We had a lovely time chatting about future shows and her show coming up this weekend in New Hampshire.  We are hoping that this year we are going to do work days at each others houses during the winter.

The hook-in always generates momentum for me , seeing all the beautiful rugs many of them holiday rugs encourages me to take the time to hook every day.   All the interest in New York about hooking with yarn,  it was amazing to see very few people doing it at this hook-in.  Thank you Sandy for making this day wonderful for all of us.

Many thanks for reading my blog today and I hope your day is wonderful.   Carole
