HAY-TURKEY IN THE ROAD-A MORNING VISITOR

14 07 2013

Hello,

Hay

         JOE

JOE

Today I got 20 bales of hay off of my friend Lynn’s field.

It took me 5 trips in my car

IMG_0817  Chris has been putting it in the barn.  Tomorrow Joe is bringing me down 41 bales off  of the lower field.

It will probably take Chris 3 days to put that away.  That’s a lot of hay to bring up those stairs.  While I was getting the 4th load Mike was there.  He is the fellow that will see if its possible to put a dumb-waiter in the barn.  He will be by some time this week to check out the barn.  It will be wonderful not to have to carry anything up stairs.

On my last trip home I went on the dirt road.  There walking down the road was a lone hen.  The babies are gone and the hens are  alone.

A morning visitor

This morning I went out to feed the hens in the barn and there was a baby skunk  It was more scared than I.

You have to look close under the wagon.

I like the IRL sticker on the back window! Your car looks like my own…a hard worker!

I have had that little car since 2006 and its paid for itself many times over. It fits 4 bales of hay nicely.
