Hello,
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL WOMAN
Rain
The rain is going to stop today. I notice that one of my old double lilacs is toppled over.
I hope I can get it back up and it survives. Too much rain in a small amount of time.
The dyes arrived. I can’t wait to get started. I will have to wash the white wool otherwise the greasy part will take up the dye differently. I plan to wash it in batches and dye it as soon as its washed.
POTATOES
My friend Patti sent me a link to a site in Australia where this man grew potatoes with compost, newspaper and straw. She is trying it this year and so am I. The secret to it is keeping them covered very well, no light must get in. I hope to get them in this afternoon.
Bleeding Hearts
I love these wonderful flowers and hope someday to have them covering the hill in front. They seem to fill in and the blossoms smell wonderful. I love having bouquets all over the house.
Many thanks for reading my blog and I hope you have a lovely day. Carole
Heavy rain is a real problem here in the west of Ireland too!
