It’s a glorious day here in Western Mass.  Its warmer than its been for days, the air is crisp and the sun is out.  The sheep are enjoying being outside and I hope to clean some of the barn today.  Sadie is doing well and likes living in the other part of the barn.  Life is not to intense for her,  No one will bother her and she can eat, and walk around without worry of getting stepped on or pushed.  She made a good choice.

I was listening to Irish Radio (RTE) this morning.  I like listening to it as you hear all the Irish news plus US and European news.  I heard a Quote that I liked, it said “Before you make up your mind……….Open it. Simple but true.

The mitten is done and I will wash and block the both of them when the other is done.  I hope that there is enough yarn left to make a pair for me.  I will probably use a brown wool for the ribbing.

I dyed this yarn using the same method as the mittens.  I made this about 5 years ago and its been sitting around while I make up my mind as to what to do with it.  I am going to line it with a similar colored fabric hopefully with some sheep on it.  I may add a grapevine handle and fill with herbs  or dried flowers – and hang it somewhere.  If I made it into a purse I would never use it.

Thanks for reading my blog and hope you have a wonderful day.   Carole
