Kellie’s Sock – Calendar – 10 THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HAPPEND THIS COMING YEAR

1 01 2013

get-attachmentHello,

I have gotten to know lots of folks from my blog.  Kellie from Indiana and I have been e-mailing for quite some time.  We share the love of knitting and she does punch hooking and lots of needle work.  She had mentioned that she had tried to make socks and just couldn’t do it.  I have this wonderful sock pattern that I have modified that really works.  I sent her the pattern and here is the first sock.  Isn’t it beautiful.  I love the colors.

LUNAR PHASE CALENDAR

They sell these calendars at the local food co-op.  I get one every year.  I don’t read the newspaper or watch tv much anymore so it helps to have this to keep track of the full moon.  This year I would like to plant  more things by moon phases.  It’s an interesting concept done by our ancestors and many people today.

10 THINGS I HOPE FOR  IN THE NEW YEAR

1. A more peaceful world

2. A cure for Alzheimer’s

3. Good heath for all

4. No one goes to bed hungry

5. No more animal cruelty

6. gun control

7. Our congress and senate realizing that they were voted on by the people and should do what the people what not what special interest wants.

8.To grow more food than I need so I can share.

9. To spread the word of permaculture and buying local.

10. To be thankful everyday for all I have

I HOPE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU HAVE A HEALTHY AND PROSPERIOUS NEW YEAR,

CAROLE

Happy New Year to you and your family Carol from Lorne and I. I have been
vegan(NO OILS) for a year and 1/2 now. No more diabetic medications or
BP ones. Lost a lot of weight and much more to go. I have always admired how you live and grow your own food. Keep up the good work. Love.
