HELLO
CURTAINS
Today I was going through my material and trying to organize it. I found this chicken material and thought that it would be good for a curtain. I wish it was a little wider but it will do. I lined it with heavy muslin to keep some of the cold out. The wind during a winter storm comes roaring down the mountain and batters the house. I want to finish painting the trim this coming weekend and I am planning to paint the walls a cream color sometime in the future so the curtains will look better then. My daughter Betty made the horse shoe toilet paper holder out of shoes from our horse Amanda. The bottles are lavender in cider vinegar. This is great to add to the bath if your skin is itchy.
LAST OLIVER REPORT
He has made a splendid recovery and seems happier than he has every been. He had eggs this morning and of course his fancy feast.
THE NIGHT SKY
Tonight there are meteor showers, I went out and watched while the sheep were eating. The sky is so beautiful and I did see one meteor soaring through the sky.
CAT TOYS
Today I finished a lot of cat toys. Some for the jar and some to sell at shows in the spring. Tonight I hope to fill them but will have to wait for the cats to eat. Its warm in here so they all will konk out.

THE MANGER SCENE
Most of this Manger Scene is from when I was a child. There are several pieces that are newer and the Kings and Camels are still in a box in the attic. I decided last year to keep it in this small greenhouse, where it could be viewed easier and there is less danger of pieces getting broken.
Thank you for reading my blog and hope you have a wonderful day. If you have a chance check out the meteors.

Love those curtains! You are the most productive person I know! Am so glad that Oliver is doing well. I bet Merlin would like and egg with breakfast…how does Oliver like his eggs? I see your stove is a popular place as well. Take care, Patti
Hi Patti
I cook them sunny side up and he eats the yellow and I eat the white. I bet Merlin would enjoy an egg too,

I will have to try it one of these days….between the girls oatmeal and Merlin’s egg and whatever Fergus wants, I feel like I run a B&B!
I know exactly how you feel, my chores take longer and longer every day. Now Sadie gets dengi with molasses on it stired up with grain and apples, then she gets her cabbage!!!!!!!! Pills for Sam, Oatmeal for the hens and I am cooking up pumpkins every day to put in the oatmeal. Oh well, is next Tuesday okay?
Pumpkins in the oatmeal?! I think I will stick with blueberries. Next Tuesday is fine I think. Do you want to come here or should I go there?
