CATS CHICKEN CARAVAN THE SUPRISE BY THE ROAD MY HOUSE

23 08 2012

HELLO

This is a picture of my front porch.  Behind the flag is my spinning area.  I have a rocking chair and another chair.  My spinning wheel comes out here in June and goes back inside in October.  It so pleasant being able to spin outside, the birds are flying to and fro and the rooster, Hazel is crowing and the girls are chatting.

THE CATS

Today I brought one of my cats Hootie to the doctors.  SHe didn’t look well and was breathing hard.  There was some bad news as she has two small masses near her lungs.  I will be meeting with a surgeon soon to see what can be done.  I wanted to include her picture but she was exhausted from the visit and is hiding.  She is Sams sister and is 16.

THE SURPRISE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD

I couldn’t imagine what kind of corn this was.  It grew to about 12 feet tall.  Its Indian COrn.  I usually put the Indian Corn out for the birds in the winter on the pussywillow bush.  Some bird must have dropped it.  I have another one growing near the porch but its only 3 feet tall with no corn on it.

THE CHICKEN CARAVAN

This is the Caravan.  As you can see it built on a wagon.  Even though

its made of plywood its easy to move around.  I have taken off the side to take out the nest box.  I am building one attached to the back to give the girls more room.  Ricky is coming back here and we will get it done and the girls moved in.

I want to lime wash their coop inside before the cold weather .  I have never done that before but got the directions over the internet.

Nothing new on the egg front.  I think the eggs are duds but will leave them sitting for a while.

It’s a beautiful day here and hope it is where you are.  Thank you for reading my blog.

HAPPY DAY TO YOU
Carole
